Material examined. Lectotype of E. fairchildii (designated by Olmi 1982): Ƥ, Hawaii, Oahu Island, Ewa Plantation [ BPBM]. Shaanxi: Ningshan County, 7-8.V.2011, Huayan Chen coll., 1 Ƥ [ SCAU].

Hosts. Delphacidae ( Guglielmino & Olmi 1997; He & Xu 2002): in the Hawaii: Aloha ipomeae Kirkaldy , Perkinsiella saccharicida Kirkaldy ; in India: Nilaparvata lugens (Stål) ; in Japan: Laodelphax striatellus (Fallén) , Nilaparvata lugens (Stål) , Sogatella furcifera (Horváth) ; in the Philippines and Malaysia: Nilaparvata lugens (Stål) , Sogatella furcifera (Horváth) ; in China: Laodelphax striatellus (Fallén) , Nilaparvata lugens (Stål) , Perkinsiella saccharicida Kirkaldy , Saccharosydne procerus (Matsumura) , Sogatella furcifera (Horváth) , Tarophagus proserpina (Kirkaldy) .
