Distribution:— ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS: Nicobar islands [ Kreisel 1992 reported as Lasiosphaera fenzlii Reichardt (1870: 135) ]; MAHARASHTRA: Mumbai (Bombay) [ Bottomley 1948 reported as Lanopila wahlbergii Fries (1849: 151) ]. This species was deposited at Kew Herbarium as well as preserved in Kreisel’s personal collection.
