Taxonomy. Michener, 1951: Lasioglossum (Chloralictus) atriventre View in CoL , p. 1112 (catalogue); Hurd, 1979: Dialictus atriventris , p. 1964 (catalogue); Moure & Hurd, 1987: Dialictus atriventris , p. 91 (catalogue).

Comments. The author is unaware of a type series for this species. No type specimen is listed in Moure and Hurd (1987). Specimens identified as this species at the ANSP were found to be L. laevissimum . Several specimens at the CNC are L. nigroviride . The original description seems to describe something with affinities to one of these species, both of which occur in British Columbia.
