Diagnosis. See diagnosis for L. pictum .
Redescription. FEMALE. Length 3.97–5.37 mm; head length 1.13–1.30 mm; head width 1.13–1.32 mm; forewing length 2.56–3.11 mm.
Colouration. Head and mesosoma bluish green to golden green. Labrum reddish brown to orange-yellow. Mandible orange to yellow. Clypeus reddish brown to orange. Supraclypeal area with bronze reflections. Antenna dark brown, F2–F10 with ventral surface orange-brownish yellow. Tegula pale amber. Wing membrane hyaline, venation and pterostigma pale brownish yellow. Legs brown, tibial bases and apices, and basitarsus suffused with orange to brownish yellow, medio- and distitarsi brownish yellow to orange. Metasoma mostly pale orange-yellow, terga and sterna with apical impressed margins translucent yellow, T3–T5 suffused with reddish brown, T3–T4 lateral reflexed portion with dark brown spot.
Pubescence. White to dull white. Moderately dense. Head and mesosoma with moderately dense woolly hairs (1–1.5 OD), longest on genal beard, metanotum and mesopleuron (2–2.5 OD). Lower paraocular area and gena with dense white tomentum, obscuring surface. Frons with sparse tomentum. Pronotum dorsolateral angle and lobe with dense tomentum. Mesoscutum and mesepisternum with sparse tomentum. Metanotum and metepisternum with dense tomentum. Propodeum with moderately sparse plumose hairs on lateral and posterior surfaces (2–2.5 OD). Metasomal terga with sparse, fine setae. T1 acarinarial fan sparse, with dorsal opening (obscure on pale background). T1 dorsolateral portion with tomentum. T2 basal portion and T3–T5 entirely with dense tomentum largely obscuring surface. T2 apicolateral and T3–T4 apical margins with weak fringes.
Surface sculpture. Face polished, punctation fine. Clypeal punctation moderately sparse (i=1–2.5d). Supraclypeal area with punctation moderately sparse (i=1–2.5d). Lower paraocular and antennocular areas with punctation dense (i≤d). Upper paraocular area and frons reticulate-punctate. Ocellocular area minutely punctate (i=d). Gena lineolate. Postgena polished and shining. Mesoscutum weakly imbricate-tessellate, polished submedially, punctation fine, moderately dense between parapsidal lines (i=1–1.5d), dense laterad of parapsidal line and on anterolateral portion (i≤d). Mesoscutellum similar to mesoscutum, submedial punctation moderately dense (i=1–2d). Axilla punctate. Preëpisternum and hypoepimeral area weakly reticulate. Mesepisternum polished, punctate (i≤d). Metepisternum with dorsal half rugoso-striate, ventral half imbricate. Metapostnotum incompletely rugoso-striate, posterior margin imbricate. Propodeum with dorsolateral slope imbricate, lateral surface imbricate-tessellate, posterior surface tessellate. Metasomal terga polished except apical impressed areas weakly coriarious, punctation on basal halves moderately dense (i=1–2d), sparser on apical halves (i=1–3d).
Structure. Head moderately elongate (length/width ratio = 1.00–1.02). Eyes convergent below (UOD/ LOD ratio = 1.13–1.21). Clypeus protruding ½–2/3 below suborbital line, apicolateral margins convergent. Antennal sockets close (IAD/OAD <0.5). Frontal line carinate, ending 2 OD below median ocellus. Gena narrower than eye. Inner metatibial spur pectinate with 3 teeth. Metapostnotum moderately elongate to truncate (MMR ratio = 1.11–1.38), posterior margin weakly angled onto posterior surface. Propodeum with oblique carina weak, lateral carina weak, not reaching dorsal margin.
MALE. As in female except for the following. Length. 3.23–4.21 mm; head length 1.06–1.20 mm; head width 1.06–1.18 mm; forewing length 2.50–2.99 mm.
Colouration. Labrum and mandible pale yellow. Clypeus with apical half yellow. Tibial bases and apices and tarsi yellow. Metasomal terga reddish brown, terga and sterna marginal zones reddish orange to translucent yellow.
Pubescence. Face below eye emargination with dense tomentum obscuring paraocular area and partially obscuring clypeus and supraclypeal area. Metasomal terga with sparse lateral tomentum. S2–S5 apical margin with subappressed hairs (1–1.5 OD).
Surface sculpture. Surface more polished, punctation stronger. Mesoscutum polished, punctation moderately sparse between parapsidal lines (i=1–2d), closer laterad of parapsidal lines (i≤d), contiguous on anterolateral portions. Mesepisternum closely punctate (i≤d). Propodeum with dorsolateral slope obscurely punctate, lateral surface reticulate-punctate. Metasomal terga punctation deep and distinct across disc (i=1– 1.5d), medial portion of apical impressed area impunctate.
Structure. Head moderately elongate (length/width ratio = 1.00–1.02). Eyes convergent below (UOD/ LOD ratio = 1.39–1.40). Clypeus protruding ½ below suborbital line, apicolateral margins subparallel. Antennal sockets distant (IAD/OAD> 1.0). Frontal line carinate, ending 2 OD below median ocellus. Pedicel and F1 subequal. F2 length 1.3X F1. F2–F10 short (length/width ratio = 1.11–1.25). Metapostnotum truncate (MMR ratio = 1.25–1.38), posterior margin weakly angled onto posterior surface.
Terminalia . S7 with median lobe weakly clavate, apex weakly rounded ( Fig. 117G View FIGURE 117 ). S8 with apicomedial margin strongly convex ( Fig. 117G View FIGURE 117 ). Genitalia as in Fig. 117E–F View FIGURE 117 . Gonobase with ventral arms narrowly separated. Gonostylus large, covered in medially directed setae. Retrorse lobe narrow, weakly attenuated apically.
