Galba subangulata (Roffiaen, 1868) View in CoL
Distribution. The species found at 3 localities: 22, 31 and 40 ( fig. 1 View Fig , table 1 View Table 1 ); it has been recently recorded from Transcarpathian Region for the first time ( Anistratenko et al., 2018) though some reports of G. ventricosa (Moquin-Tandon, 1855) might be referred to G. subangulata ( Stadnichenko, Gyrin, 2011 a) . In Ukraine the species is distributed in the Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones (Anistratenko, Сhernogorenko, 1989; Stadnichenko, 2004).
Remarks. In the studied area G. subangulata inhabits hard substrates in shoreline zone of moderately warm (T = 13.4–24.0 °С) small rivers or swamped streams in the altitude range 145–850 m a. s. l. (table 2) occasionally together with G. oblonga (see below). This (morpho)species differs from G. truncatula by ovate-conical shell with a shorter spire and visibly inflated body whorl than in latter species ( Anistratenko et al., 2018: fig. 3 View Fig , E).
