Ladislavella terebra (Westerlund, 1885) View in CoL
D i s t r i b u t i o n. The species was recently found ( Anistratenko et al., 2018: shell images are given in fig. 3 View Fig , G, H) at a single locality 24 ( fig. 1 View Fig , table 1 View Table 1 ) close to the site where it has being recorded earlier by Korniushin (1999). Available data suggest the area of distribution of L. terebra in the Transcarpathian Region is restricted to the Khust district. In addition it was mentioned in the adjacent Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv regions ( Stadnichenko, 1968) under the name Galba occulta Jackiewicz, 1959 ; the latter is a junior synonym for Limnaea palustris var. terebra Westerlund, 1885 (see Vinarski, Glöer, 2008). Actual distribution of this species in Ukraine needs to be clarified by means of new samplings.
Remarks. In the Transcarpathian L. terebra inhabits hard substrates in shallow natural stagnant reservoirs and artificial ponds in lowland zone about 170 m a. s. l. (table 2).
