D i s t r i b u t i o n. In the Transcarpathian Region is rarely registered species ( Zdun, 1960; Stadnichenko, Gyrin, 2011 b; Anistratenko et al., 2018); currently we found its populations in four localities: 16, 24, 25 and 27 ( fig. 1 View Fig , table 1 View Table 1 ). In Ukraine G. albus is registered in all regions (Anistratenko, Сhernogorenko, 1989; Stadnichenko, 1990). Global distribution — Northern Palearctic ( Vinarski, Kantor, 2016).
Remarks. In Transcarpathia G. albus live on vegetation in lakes, natural ponds and artificial canals within the altitude range between 120 and 500 m a. s. l. at a depth up to 1.5–2.0 m ( table 1 View Table 1 , 2).
