Erect subshrub, ca. 0.3 m tall; leaves pinnately trifoliolate, almost sessile; leaflets 7–11 × 3–7 cm, densely lanose; inflorescence larger than the leaf that subtends it; flowers ca. 1.7 cm long, laxly arranged.
Selected specimen: — BRAZIL. Distrito Federal: Brasília , 15°55'S, 48°11'W, 02 March 1992, G. P. Silva 937 (CEN). Distribution: — Endemic to Brazil (DF, GO, MG). Habitat and ecology:— Cerrado biome, growing in both dry and moist grassland, on clay or sandy soils, on steep slopes. Phenology:— flowering and fruiting from July to March GoogleMaps .
