Plateros duomaculatus Kazantsev, 2011: 185 . Calleros bimaculatus Pic, 1922: 22.
Type material. Holotype, female, PERU “Marcapota, Pérou ” without other data ( MNHN).
Redescription: Body with ventral surface dark brown. Head dark brown with small eyes, interocular distance 1.2x longer than eye diameter. Antennae subserrate, antennomere 2 as long as 4, 1.8x longer than 3. Mandibles stout, labial palpi short, maxillary palpi elongate, palpomere 2 as long as 4, 2x longer than 3. Pronotum trapezoidal, dark brown, 1.1x larger than long medially, longitudinal median line channeled at basal ½, lateral margins divergent at posterior half, posterior angles projected obliquely posteriad, posterior margin bisinuate. Scutellum subsquare, straight distally. Elytra dark brown with yellow spots in outer half at distal ¾, each elytron with 9 costae, reticulate cells regular, subsquare. Prosternum and mesosternum trapezoidal. Legs compressed, trochanters dark brown, conical. Femora dark brown, as long as tibiae, ¼ as long as trochanter. Female genitalia with coxites elongate, valvifers integrated to coxites, styli 2/5 of coxites length, proctiger subrectangular ( Fig. 12 View FIGURE 1 – 12 ). Body length: 5.7 mm, humeral width: 1.4 mm.
