Staudinger, 1877: 194 ( Leucanitis Tenera ). Type locality: “Steppe Süd-Russlands” (by the original description); “Narün” (by the lectotype designation, designated here).

Habitat ( Figs. 299, 300, 303 View FIGURES 297–304 ). Deserts, semideserts, steppes. Elevation: 200– 600 m.
