Remarks: This species was originally described from 12 specimens including the holotype and 11 paratypes (8 males and 3 females) ranging in length from 347 to 390 mm, all collected from Kaohsiung. As far as known this little shark is endemic to the southern coast of Taiwan.
Conservation status: Data Deficient.
