Current status: Synonym of Conognatha (Pithiscus) viridiventris sagittaria ( Fairmaire, 1856) View in CoL ( Moore & Lander, 2010; Moore & Vidal, 2015).

Comments: Fairmaire & Germain (1858:728) provided the replacement name Stigmodera hastaria Fairmaire & Germain, 1858 , when the original name Pithiscus sagittarius Fairmaire, 1856 was supposedly preoccupied by a species of Polychroma (name suppressed in Buprestidae ).
