Current status: Synonym of Conognatha ( Pithiscus) chalybeiventris ( Fairmaire & Germain, 1858) ( Moore & Lander, 2010; Moore & Vidal, 2015).
Comments: The specimen selected as holotype was illustrated as the “type” (singular) in its original description and it is the only syntype labelled as “typus”.
