Dactylozodes tetrazonus Chevrolat, 1838a:80 . [ Figure 68A & 68B ]

Lectotype: “ ♀ // Type // tetrazona Chevr. // Saunders 74·18. // Dactylozodes tetrazona Chevr. Holotypus A. Cobos det. 1973 // Type. // NHMUK 011520843 // Dactylozodes tetrazonus Chevrolat, 1838 LECTOTYPE det. Pineda & Matsumoto, 2020”. Lectotype here designated .

Current status: Lasionota (Lasionota) tetrazonus (Chevrolat, 1838) ( Bellamy, 2008) .

Comments: Chevrolat (1838a:80), in his original description, named the species “ tetrazonus ”, but the label on the lectotype reads “ tetrazona”, probably in Chevrolat’s hand. The published text being decisive, the correct name is “ tetrazonus ”. Label’s data does not indicate the type locality, but the original description indicates that the species is from Patagonia.
