This species was described from southern Illinois from low-gradient streams and is found in similar habitats in Kansas and Missouri southward to Louisiana (Poulton & Stewart 1991), but has never been reported from Indiana ( Grubbs 2004). We present several new records for Illinois that expand its range within the state.
