Diagnosis. In the pattern and color of the wings, the new species resembles T. septemdactyla and T. svetlanae , but is distinguished from all other species by the width of the white medial stripe across all wings and the bold dark brown markings distal to this stripe.
In the female genitalia, it resembles T. dactyloptera , but distinguished by the goblet-like antrum.
Description. Wingspan 22 mm.
Head brown, thorax and tegula white, interspersed with small brown scales. Labial palpus whitish brown, three times as long as longitudinal diameter of eye, third segment discrete, directed upwards. Maxillary palpus very short, setiform. Antenna whitish brown, ringed, scape thickened.

Thorax. Wing whitish brown. Discal spot brown, narrow, located transversely. Prominent transverse dark brown stripe of variable width across distal portion of all wings, preceded by a wide white stripe, apparently narrowing as it approaches the fore wing costa. Fore wing basally darkened with brown spots and scales. Hind wing basally white, with three narrow brown stripes in dorsal portion. Lobes of all wings brown, banded with a wavy white stripes. Middle band of second, third and fourth lobes of fore wing darker brown.
Female genitalia. Posterior apophyses straight. Papilla analis narrow, elongated. Anterior apophyses long, equal in length to posterior apophyses. Antrum wide, goblet-like. Ductus bursae long, poorly sclerotized, twice as long as corpus bursae. Ductus bursae strongly widened towards the junction with corpus bursae. Corpus bursae round, with two lunule signa surrounded by tiny sclerotized spines. Ductus seminalis wide, bag-like, equal in length to corpus bursae.
Male unknown.
Type material. Holotype: female, Fiji, Suva, 1955, H.W. Simmonds. B.M. 1956–128 ( BMNH 22796 ), in BMNH.
Etymology. Toponymic name. Suva is the capital of Fiji.
Distribution. Fiji.
Note. Fore wings of type damaged, missing more than half of the costal region and the first lobe.
