Diagnosis. Taxa of this group have rostrum abruptly emerging from frons, although
males may have base of the rostrum broad, origin of rostrum is below dorsal margin of
eye as seen in lateral view, females have a narrower base with origin well below dorsal
margin of eye; hind femur exceeds apex of elytra by the dorsal width of metafemoral
clava; antennal club small, except for C. imperalis that has club as long as funiculus.
