Vernacular Names: Andersen's Fruit-eating Bat.

Distribution: W Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc).

Discussion: Subgenus Dermanura . Previously considered a subspecies of cinereus , but see Koopman (1978 b) and Handley (1987).
