No. 11441, No. 703, Typ., Iran: Sabzawaran”, examined (in the text Roewer mentioned this material as: 1♂ 1♀, Sabzawaran, Typus, H. Löffler leg., 2♂, Sabzawaran, Paratipoide, F. Starmuhl- ner leg.) ; 1♀ ( SMF), “Sabzawaran (nördl. Flussbett), Paratypoid”, H. Löffler leg., not examined .

Comments. This species is considered here because Geolycosa altera was recently ( Logunov 2012; World Spi- der Catalog 2020) placed in Trochosa . Although we have not studied the type, this species is adequately illustrated by Logunov (2012). Its peculiarly shaped vulva is exactly the same as that of H. ferox . The female allotype of G. atroscopulata is a subadult with a well-developed ‘pre-epigyne’. The structure of the epigyne and habitus in the type of Lycorma nigrichelis are identical to those of H. ferox .
