( Figs 23 View FIGURES 13 – 24 , 54 View FIGURES 45 – 56 , 85 View FIGURES 76 – 87 , 186–187 View FIGURES 184 – 197 )
Description. Male. Body length 2.63 mm. Color: body castaneous. Head ( Fig. 23 View FIGURES 13 – 24 ). Mandible with two distal teeth. Median clypeal lobe trapezoidal, with one angulate tooth; median clypeal carina low in profile, complete or nearly so, straight in profile or nearly so. Frons weakly coriaceous and punctures small. Vertex crest straight. Pronotal disc weakly coriaceous; anterior margin coarse. Metasoma ( Fig. 54 View FIGURES 45 – 56 ). Tergal process with lateral, deep, circular and large depression, with small, low and dorsad tubercle placed on center of depression, pit large, with short and dense tuft of setae. Posterior hypopygeal margin straight or nearly so ( Fig. 85 View FIGURES 76 – 87 ). Genitalia ( Figs 186–187 View FIGURES 184 – 197 ): paramere with dorsal margin entirely wide; apical margin rounded. Aedeagal ventral ramus as long as dorsal body, evenly narrow; cross section laminar; surface horizontal; inner margin sinuous; outer margin slightly sinuous; apex short, simple, curved outward; additional inner ramus absent; basal stub absent. Aedeagal dorsal body with two pairs of apical lobes; outer lobe long, subhorizontal and narrow, with apical margin abruptly acute and posterad; inner pair stout, membranous and setose. Apodeme extending beyond genital ring.
Variation. Tergal process with pit of tubercle with few setae.
Remarks. This species is easily recognized by having the paramere wide basally and the triangular shape of the outer lobe of the aedeagal dorsal body which is very projected forward. This species is not similar to anyone of the setosus species-group.
