The nutlet is dark brown and elliptic (0.61 × 0.45 mm), while the surface is glabrous with shallow areoles becoming shallower towards the abscission scar. The nutlet sculpture is reticulate of isodiametric cells with raised, wavy anticlinal and concave external periclinal walls. The thickness of muri is 2.3 μm and the diameter of lacuna is 10.8 μm. The abscission scar is elliptic and occupies about 55% of the nutlet length ( Table 2 and Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , 12–14).
