The nutlet is dark brown and elliptic (0.77 × 0.53 mm), while the surface is glabrous with deep and uniformly distributed areoles. The nutlet sculpture is reticulate of isodiametric cells with incomplete walls especially those within the areoles, however the cells exhibit raised anticlinal and concave external periclinal walls. The thickness of muri is 3.1 μm and the diameter of lacuna is 6.9 μm. The abscission scar is elliptic and occupies about 43% of the nutlet length ( Table 2 and Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 , 6–8).
