Host plants. Larvae feed in fruits of Capparaceae : Boscia caffra ( Munro 1925) , Ritchiea albersii , Capparis erythrocarpa (this paper), C. tomentosa ( Copeland et al., 2009: as T. laticeps ).

Distribution: Benin, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo (first record), Eswatini [ Swaziland] (first record), Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda (first record), Zimbabwe ( Fig. 3 ).
