Distribution. China (Shaanxi, Gansu, Hubei, Sichuan, Guangxi).

Remarks. Based on the aedeagus characters of the holotype, we follow Dworakowska (1997) in placing Alebroides discretus in the A. hachijonis species group rather than the A. marginatus species group. The aedeagus is re-illustrated in Figs 42, 43 View FIGURES 42 – 50. 42, 43 .
