Material studied: 3 ♀♀: ‘Pindar V. Almora U.P., 8-11,000ft. July7 1920. H.G.C.’, 3614’, ‘ Amphichroum pindarense ’, ‘not pindarense P.M. Hammond det. 1980’ ( BMNH); 1 ♂: ‘Pindar Valley, 8-11,000ft. Kumaon. H.G.C.’ ( BMNH); 1 ♀: ‘Pindar Valley HGC’ ( BMNH).
Remarks. Regarding the coloration, body size and microsculpture of the forebody, these specimens are somewhat similar to A. pindarense , but differby the shorter pronotum and slightly longer elytra. Unfortunately, the aedeagus in the male is missing.
