Basionym: ― Salsola parviflora Botsch. View in CoL in Botanicheskii Zhurnal 59: 40 (1974b).

Type: ― SOUTH-WEST AFRICA [ NAMIBIA ]. Kalkriff am Nordufer des Swakop, 18 December 1956, Seydel 847 (holotype M-0110654!).

Notes: ― Craven & Kolberg (1999: 64) suggested that S. parviflora is identical with S. seydelii , which was however not followed by Klopper et al. (2006).

Distribution: ― Namibia : Namib Desert (near Swakopmund).
