Type: ― SOUTH AFRICA. Bushmanland [ Northern Cape Prov.]: sand between Aenkriesfontein and Eenriet, 15 January 1909, Pearson 3093 Plant 2. S. pearsonii ( holotype K-000243959!).

Distribution: ― South Africa (NC): northern Bushmanland.
