Type : ― SOUTH-WEST AFRICA [ NAMIBIA ]. Warmbad : 20 miles N of Ariamsvlei, Driedoring-veld, ± 2700 ft elev., 17 March 1956, Acocks 18809 (holotype K-000243908!; isotypes LE-00011753!, LE-00011754!, M-0107442!, PRE-0375528-0!) .

Distribution: ― Namibia : Ariamsvlei (SE Karas region); South Africa? (NC?; Botschantzev 1974a, Germishuizen et al. 2006).
