Type: ― SOUTH AFRICA. Cape Prov. [Northern Cape Prov.]: Dist. Williston, 3 miles west of Williston , 15 December 1953, Theron 1645 (holotype K-000243948!; isotypes LE-00011775!, PRE-0375560-0!) .

Distribution: ― South Africa (NC): Upper Karoo, Bushmanland.
