Thunbergia roxburghia Nees View in CoL in Wallich, Pl. Asiat. Rar. 3: 78 (1832). – Type: Anon. s.n. [ EIC 767 F] (lectotype K-W [ K001111837 ], designated here; isolectotypes GZU [ GZU000251659 About GZU , GZU000251660 About GZU ]).

Thunbergia roxburghia Nees View in CoL represents a synonym of Thunbergia fragrans Roxb. A View in CoL specimen from Nees’s herbarium now in GZU is here selected as lectotype.
