Annotations: Males of C. longicaudis were identified for the first time. Their genitalia greatly resemble C. brevicaudis but the tip of the distiphallus is short and broad and the phallic processes are broadened in the basal half only, with a strongly sclerotized rim and distinct hairs (compare Figs 14–15 View FIGURES 12 – 23 ). Females possess a long and thin tergite 9 (piercer). The species has been reared from Empoasca vitis ( Jervis 1992) .
