K a r y o t y p e: 2 n = 2 6 (♀). A l l t h e c h r o m o s o m e s are subacrocentric to acrocentric and there is a gradual decrease in size along the karyotype, with the smallest chromosomes about half of the length of the largest. The X chromosomes cannot be identified.
