Description of Roseivivax pacificus IMCC 25645
Cells are Gram-staining-negative, non-flagellated, diffus- ible pigmented and rod-shaped. Colonies are circular, convex, entire and white colored after 3 days on MA at 20℃. In API 20NE, negative for nitrate reduction, indole production, gelatinase, urease and β -galactosidase; but positive for esculin hydrolysis, arginine dihydrolase and glucose fermentation. D-Glucose, L-arabinose, D-mannose, D-mannitol, N -acetyl-glucosamine, D-maltose, potassium gluconate, capric acid, malic acid, phenylacetic acid, adipic acid and trisodium citrate are not utilized. Strain IMCC25645 View Materials (= NIBRBAC000498544) was isolated from plant root, Incheon, Korea .
