Phaneroptera nana Fieber, 1853
Relatively common and widespread.
Distribution. Native to the Western Palaearctic region; it also appears to have been introduced into parts of North America’s west coast.
Odontura stenoxypha (Fieber, 1853)
Known from a single male specimen recorded in 1974 from Ghadira saltmarsh surroundings, specifically within the aerohaline floral assemblage characterized by Limbarda crithmoides (L.) Dumort ( Schembri & Ebejer 1983; Cassar 1990a).
Distribution. A Siculo-Maltese species, whose presence in Tunisia, reported by Harz (1969), has yet to be confirmed ( Massa et al. 2012).
