Scoparia promiscua Wileman & South, 1919: 268 ; Klima, 1937, in Bryk: 30; Yamanaka, 1992, in Heppner & Inoue, 1992: 79. Type locality: Arizan, Taiwan, China.

Eudonia promiscua ( Wileman & South, 1919) : Sasaki, 1998: 193, figs. 23, 25; Nuss, 1998: 496; Sasaki, 1999: 12, figs. 4, 8.

Distribution. China ( Taiwan).

Remarks. Eudonia promiscua ( Wileman & South, 1919) can not be well recognized because the scales of the type specimen are imperfect ( Sasaki 1998: 194). This species is similar to E. truncicolella ( Stainton, 1849) , but could not be determined whether they are conspecific based on the worn holotype specimen ( Nuss 1998: 496).
