Diagnostic Character s: Body yellow to light brown; head is provided with test or hard covering in the middle; basal joint of antennae and base of second joint black in colour, second joint of antennae as long as breadth of head and about one-third shorter than base of pronotum; hind femora with three large black punctures on apical half.

Length: 2.5 mm.

Distribution: India: West Bengal (Dist. Kolkata), Tamilnadu. Elsewhere: Cape Verde Is, Nepal, Philippine Is, Sri Lanka.
