Scymnus micros Fauvel, 1903: 324 (pars).
Endemic to New Caledonia (Nouméa). In his review, Bielawski (1973) assigned a lectotype for this species, which represents the only known specimen in collections (Col d’Amieu, dense rain forest). In Fauvel’s collection, this species was partially confused with Stethorus vagans (Blackburn) ( Chazeau 1979) . At the genus level, its position remains uncertain. Male genitalia and the heavily convex specimen habitus suggest a Sticholotidini. Its biology remains unknown.
