Generitype of Browallia Linnaeus.

Current name: Browallia americana L. View in CoL ( Solanaceae ).

Note: Although D’Arcy (in Ann. Missouri Bot. Gard. 60: 578. 1974) indicated a Clifford sheet (BM), and Deb (in J. Econ. Taxon. Bot. 1: 34. 1980) treated 791.2 (LINN) as the type, both choices are predated by that of Stearn.
