Materials examined. See table 3. Description. This species is well illustrated and described by Behning (1939). Size. Female: 1.93–3.04 mm; male: 1.60–3.00 mm. Distribution. Pacific Ocean: Gulf of Alaska ; N. Pacific central gyre; Oregon; Japan Sea; South China Sea. In the present study this species was found in 52 samples from surface to 210 m, 19°N– 20°S and 81°– 119°W.
