Distribution: India: Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi,Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Odisha, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. Elsewhere: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Borneo, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Java, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sarawak, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Sumatra, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Remarks: This species was listed from Sunderbans by Mandal and Nandi (1989).
