The genus Agriothera View in CoL can be easily recognized by the median longitudinal band of elongate forewing, with apex obviously prominent ( Figs 1–4 View FIGURES 1–6 ).

Distribution. China, Japan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand ( Heppner 2005).
