Distribution in Iran. East Azarbaijan ( Ghahari et al. 2010c).

Distribution outside Iran. Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Mongolia, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Turkey, USA, Ukraine, Uk, former Yugoslavia ( Yu et al. 2012), Montenegro ( Žikić et al. 2013).

Host records. Hemileuca maia ( Thompson 1944; Nixon 1974; Mason 1981; Peigler 1994; Ghahari et al. 2010c; Yu et al. 2012), Liparis auriflura , Malacosoma americanum , M. disstrium , Olene basiflava , Orgyia leucostigma , Phyciodes nycteis , Pteronidia ribesii ( Shenefelt 1972) , Lymantria dispar , L. monacha , Leucoma salicis , Euproctis chrysorrhoea ( Shenefelt 1972; Yu et al. 2012). In Europe, it has been bred from Lymantria dispar , while in England it has been bred from Leucoma salicis and Orgyia antiqua ( Nixon 1974; Yu et al. 2012). In the USA, Orgyia leucostigma has been reported as an occasional host for it ( Muesebeck and Dohanian 1927; Yu et al. 2012). Yu et al.
