Distribution in Iran. Golestan (Ghahari and Fischer 2011b), Lorestan ( Ghahari et al. 2012b).
Distribution outside Iran. former Czechoslovakia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Korea, Mongolia, Romania, Russia, Turkey, UK ( Yu et al. 2012).
Host records. Epirrhoe galiata , Earophila badiata , Abraxas grossulariata , Catarhoe rubidata , Hydriomena furcata , Phigalia pilosaria , Spilosoma lubricipida , Maniola jurtina , Melanargia galathea , Coleophora sarratella , Coleophora milvipennis ( Shenefelt 1972; Yu et al. 2012), Earophila badiata , Horisme vitalbata , Mormo maura ( Nixon 1974; Yu et al. 2012). Shenefelt (1972) reported Adscita geryon , Anticlea sp., Biston betularia , Lygris pyraliata , Lycaena phlaeas , Paramesia plantaginis , Stenoptilia zophodactyla , Thetidia sp. Also, Yu et al. (2012) reported Coleophora nigricella , Cosmia pyralina , Earophila badiata , Eulithis pyraliata , Horisme vitalbata , Ipimorpha retusa , Jordanita (Jucasiterna) subsolana , Lithophane semibrunnea , Mesochorus fuscicornis and Phyllonorycter lantanella .
