H. californicus (Wootton, 1966)

Type host. American coot, Fulica americana Gmelin ( Gruiformes : Rallidae ).

Type locality. Experimental in physid snails, no adult described.

Remarks. This species was not listed by Yamaguti (1971). This species was not included in our tables or key to species because as far as we can determine, no adult description was published. In our opinion this species should be considered a species inquirenda.
