Diagnosis. Cyclocoelidae ; Haematotrephinae. Body, lanceolate to linguiform, sometimes tapered anteriorly. Rudimentary oral sucker often present; rudimentary ventral sucker generally absent. Genital pore postpharyngeal. Ovary pretesticular to opposite to anterior testis, forming triangle with oblique testes near posterior arch of cyclocoel. Uterine coils generally overreaching ceca laterally, invading posttesticular space in some species. Vitelline fields confluent posteriorly forming a posteriorly- directed, tail-like extension in some species (e.g. U. himantopi Dronen & Tkach, 2013 and U. kaniharensis Gupta, 1958 ). Parasites in air sacs and lungs of charadriiform birds.
