Diagnosis. Diagnosed in Australia by the combination of the following characters: pterostigma surpassing apex of discal cell, M and Cu fused basal of discal cell forming a triangular subbasal cell; T2 of abdomen (first visible) lacking spine.
Remarks. Tridemula is represented in Australia by three species.
