Type species: Ornebius rufonigrus Ingrisch, 1987: 173 ( Thailand: Nakhon Si Thammarat) .
Diagnosis. Comparing with other species groups of the genus Ornebius , the species group is distinguished by the male phallus with external sclerites strongly developed, lateral valves forming a tube in apical area, and medial valve with internal sclerites laterally expanded in the basal spermatophore sac area ( Fig. 18 View FIGURE 18 ).
Except the type species, the species group includes Ornebius consternus , Ornebius dumoga and Ornebius alvarezi .
