Coxae: sternal line present, coxal area with short lines, anterolateral setae on coxisternum І (1b) 8 (7–9) long, proximal setae on coxisternum І (1a) 13 (11–14) long, proximal setae on coxisternum ІІ (2a) 35 (32–37) long. Leg segments normal. Leg І 28.5 (28–29) long, femur 9.5 (9–10) long, basiventral femoral setae (bv) 9 (8–10) long; genu 4 (4–4.5) long, antaxial genual setae (l'') 25 (22–28) long; tibia 5.5 (5–6) long, paraxial tibial setae (l') 6 (5.5–6) long, located centrally; tarsus 6.5 (6–7) long; tarsal empodium simple, 8-rayed, tarsal solenidion unknobbed. Leg ІI 26 (25–27) long, femur 9.5 (9–10) long, basiventral femoral setae (bv) 6 (5–7) long; genu 5 (4.5–6) long, antaxial genual setae (l'') 9 (8–10) long; tibia 4 (4–5) long, tarsus 5.5 (5–6) long. Opisthosoma: dorsum with median furrow; dorsal opisthosomal annuli 53 (51–54), with spiny microtubercles; ventral annuli 65 (62–67), with round microtubercles; setae c2 45 (42– 47) long, on ventral annulus 12 (10–13); setae d 35 (32–38) long, on ventral annulus 28 (27–29); setae e 17.5 (16–19) long, on ventral annulus 45 (44–46); setae f 16 (15–17) long, on 5th ventral annulus from rear; setae h1 present. Female genitalia 18 (17–19) long, 24 (23–25) wide, coverflap with 12 distal longitudinal ridges; proximal setae on coxisternum ІІІ (3a) 14 (13–15) long.
Male: Not seen.
Type data: Holotype, female, Jiulong Waterfall, 48 km northeast of Heng County (22°69´N, 109°2´E), Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, 15-Oct.-2004, from Sapium discolor (Champ. ex Benth.) Muell. -Arg. ( Euphorbiaceae ), coll. De-Wei LI, Guo-Quan WANG & Guo-Ying SHI. Paratypes, 11 females, with the same data as holotype.
Relation to host: The mites are vagrants on the undersurface of the leaves, no visible damage.
Note: This species is similar to Petanovicia cerberae Boczek, 1996 , but can be differentiated by prodorsal shield median line complete and empodium 8-rayed.
Etymology: The species name is derived from the name of the host plant.
