Known distribution: Argentina (Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Corrientes, Entre Ríos, Jujuy, Misiones, and Santa Fe), Brazil, and Uruguay ( Pirán, 1948, 1963a; Ruffinelli and Pirán, 1959; Quintanilla et al., 1975 –1976; Rolston, 1978).
