Known distribution: Argentina (Buenos Aires, Entre Ríos, Misiones, Salta, Santa Fe, and Tucumán), Brazil, and Uruguay ( Berg, 1892; Pirán, 1963a; Rolston and McDonald, 1981; Grazia and Schwertner, 2008; Carpintero and De Biase, 2011).
